Easy, Cheap, Tasty, Aussie ANZAC Biscuits
Servings per Recipe (8-20 Depending on Desired Size)
Ingredients:
x1 Cup of Flour
x1 Cup of Rolled Oats
x 2/3 Cup of Sugar
x1 Cup of Coconut
x 125 grams of Butter
x 1/4 Cup of Golden Syrup
x1 Tablespoon of Hot Water
x 1/2 Teaspoon of Bicarbonate Soda
Ingredients:

Equipment/Resources:
- Baking Tray
- Baking Paper
- Mixing Bowl
- Sifter/Sieve
- Small Saucepan
- Wooden Spoon
- Tablespoon
Method:
1) Preheat the oven to 180°C and place the baking paper onto the baking tray.
2) Sift the flour and salt into a mixing bowl.
3) Add the oats and coconut into the mixture. Make well in the middle.
4) Place the butter and the golden syrup into a small saucepan. Stir it on the stove until the butter and golden syrup are melted and smooth.
5) Dissolve the bicarbonate soda in 1 Tablespoon of hot water. Place it immediately into the butter and golden syrup mixture.
6) Pour the mixture into the other dry mixture. Stir it with a wooden spoon.
7) Place tablespoons of the mixture and roll them into balls. Flatten them slightly on the tray. Leave room for the mixture to spread.
8) Bake the ANZAC biscuits for round 20 minutes or until brown.
9) Let the ANZAC biscuits rest for a few minutes.
10) EAT THEM, with milk, milo, etc.
